Oh Well 04:12
In the summer, it's too warm to ever think a single thought. I am bound by the sweat and the songs trapped in my head and I'm bound by the little things I'm not. Every bone inside my body screams in fear of the unknown and every atom sings out well oh well oh well oh well. Yes, the winter's much too cold to ever dream of leaving here. What's the point of making dates when I'll just keep making mistakes. I prefer to live in the near. Every bone inside my body screams in fear of the unknown and every atom sings out well oh well oh well oh well. I'm scared of trying cause I don't know. I'm scared of asking cause I don't know. Scared of admitting that I don't know. I'm scared of knowing what I don't know. I'm scared of something, well I don't know. Scared of the future cause I don't know. Scared of the future cause no one knows. I don't know. No, I don't know. I don't know. Well, no on knows.

Nonetheless 04:56
How apropos, this night I guess, to try to find some light in this mess. I swear I’ll be a man, one day and my fear of childish things will fade. Darling, we’ll be leaving here and your eyes are filling mine with fear. When I know that I don’t know a single thing, I know that we won’t wanna know what it means. Forgive me dear, I stop and stare when you run your fingers through your hair. And it might last a few more days or less, but oh how you’re lovely nonetheless. Yes, you’re lovely nonetheless. My fingers danced on six steel-strings as I pondered all the things you must think. Our smiles won’t fade in time since past. It’s well spent hours and a good life had. And maybe there’s more. I wish I could say what I thought, what I thought, what I think, but I won’t. That the sight of your face keeps me panicked through the day, but I don’t. Darling, we’ll be leaving here and your eyes are filling mine with fear. I know that I don’t know a single thing, yeah I know. Forgive me dear, but I don’t think I care ‘bout the way things are moving and how time has faired. Caused I know a single, yeah I know. But you’re lovely, nonethless...

Say a word. My night grows long and dark with doubt. I’ll blame my thoughts on everything in this world except my mouth. But I awoke to a brand new world, a brand new world. It was filled with a million pearls, a million pearls I’d never seen before. My wisest friend, show me all that I’ve ignored. Do you think I bleed cause I won’t look past the roads and see the trees? My means, my tools; can the narcissist inside escape the fool? But I awoke to a brand new world, a brand new world. It was filled with a million pearls, a million pearls I’d never seen before. My wisest friend, show me all that I’ve ignored. Take me from the pessimist, he comes to plague my mind. Friend, this world, it feels so dark. Show me something worth the time. Save me from the cynic one, she stole my early eyes. Friend, this world, distracts me so... Give me something, give me something to last the night. But I awoke to a brand new world, a brand new world. It was filled with a million pearls, a million pearls I’d never seen before. My wisest friend, show me all that I’ve ignored.

Joburg 03:14
And to Joburg, you’ll be heading soon. And you’re leaving me a lonesome pair of shoes. They don’t fit right, no, but they’ll do. You seem to trust me so. I don’t see much good inside this soul, but goodness you must. Little dear of mine, I wish I’d asked you sooner, but my confidence was shot. Yeah, you’re a sight. What a fright that overtook me just to try to say your name because... And good sir up there, I know I’ll just let you down, but I don’t see a frown. And it’s a shame that I can’t explain away my fate. Can’t explain away the grace that comes when... I don’t see much good inside this soul, but good grief you must.

My friends, we’ve made it to the end. You’ve found the good within the parts of me that push the ones that care the most away. I’ve sought a way to say goodbye. So long just won’t suffice. I’m running out of time, oh I’m running out of time. With all that we’ve made and all that will fade, I guess we’ll all say see you later. The dawn mustn't wait, our lives never stay, so I guess we’ll all say see you later. I’m tired of my halfway greetings life. There’s little point in saying “hi” when farewell is all that comes. It’s just around the corner, friend. With all that we’ve made and all that will fade, I guess we’ll all say see you later. The dawn mustn't wait, our lives never stay, so I guess we’ll all say see you later. Scaling mountains, climbing trees, searching for some words to speak. Hello, my friend, you said to me, but I’m gonna leave you. I’m gonna leave you.

The End 03:47
La La La, La La La. Everything will turn out fine once we reach the end. Cause I’ve been where you are, by your seas, by your stars. You can’t leave, however hard. In your stomach, you know it’s wrong. If you wait for that plane, you’ll just wait your days away. So take time and take some more. You’ll miss these days when they’re gone from here. La La La, La La La. Everything will turn out fine once we reach the end. Cause I’ve been in that town, by the ones who let you down. And it’s hard to shut your eyes, but know you haven’t wasted time. If you think you’re alone, then you haven’t realized home is where your friends are and there right there and they’ve been there. Yeah, they’ve been there all along. La La La, La La La. Everything will turn out fine once we reach the end. La La La, La La La. Everything will turn out fine once we reach the end. Cause I’ve been where you are, by your seas, by your stars. And it’s hard. If you wait for that plane, you’ll just wait your days away. So take time and take some more. You’ll miss these days when they’re gone from here...
